What we build
We provide free, accessible civics curriculum designed to empower the next generation through democratic education and combat educational inequalities.

Empowering students in underserved schools with accessible, high-quality civic education resources.

Providing essential democratic literacy to refugee youth and community organizations in need.

Supporting youth-led initiatives with comprehensive civic education tools for informed participation.
The problem
Only about 1 in 5 U.S. eighth graders test proficient in civics, and roughly a third don’t even reach the basic benchmark on the national civics assessment. These gaps track closely with under-resourced districts, meaning the students with the least access to power are also the ones least equipped to navigate it.
Plenty of organizations talk about “bridging the civics gap.” Fewer stop to ask why it exists in specific places, for specific students. We do. We diagnose where civic education breaks down: outdated curricula, under-trained teachers, one-size-fits-all lesson plans that don’t reflect students’ communities. We build programs that actually fit the gaps we find, starting with the communities most overlooked by the system.
